Krista Howell
Director & Executive Producer
Krista Howell, producer of the award-winning film "Great Highway", is a filmmaker, photographer, and a former competitive surfer. A USF graduate and a certified aquanaut and rescue diver, she blends artistic vision with adventure. Krista is a cancer survivor and an entrepreneur, Krista’s work celebrates resilience, creativity, and the magnificence of the natural world.
Kai Heartlife
Director of Photography & Editor
Kai Heartlife is a filmmaker, videographer, and editor from the San Francisco Bay Area. She has worked to create videos for nonprofits including the Human Rights Data Analysis Group, Bay Area Creative, and EarthCapades Environmental Vaudeville. A graduate of The Oxbow School, she has created multiple short films and edited countless freelance projects. She specializes in experimental film, using a blend of collage-based stop-motion animation and traditional cinematography to create and showcase emotional and visually appealing worlds.
Rich Pendlebury
Composer, Original Score
Rich Pendlebury, from Vancouver Island, BC, discovered his passion for music at 13. A bassist and performer in various bands, he later focused on writing and recording original and meditation music. Rich enjoys all music genres, humor, nature, and peaceful farm life with his family, balancing creativity with tranquility.
